Specialist services and engineering company TP Group said it had won an additional contract from GE company Baker Hughes within the nuclear sector valued at around £6.4m.
The contract followed on from the first award from GE Oil & Gas under the same programme, announced by TP Group in December.
The work would be carried out at the company's advanced manufacturing centre in Manchester over the next four years.
'It further recognises both the investment and progress made at the Manchester facility in becoming a world-class manufacturing hub for critical equipment in the energy and defence sectors,' chief executive Phil Cartmell said.
