SUBSEA EXPO 2019 - OGV interview Kevin Illingworth from Expro Group

Hi Kevin, so what brings you to Subsea Expo this year?

Well this is our first year at subsea Expo and we've chosen to come here this year because we've expanded our subsea intervention product line so we feel this a good opportunity to showcase it.

And are there any products or services that you'll be showcasing here that you can share with us?

Yeah, we've developed our subsea intervention product line; so we've added a couple of opportunities into that which is a riser based intervention system and a riserless intervention system, these products will develop the subsea intervention market and allow clients to have a more effective intervention method into their wells.

Now in the last year we've seen an increased confidence in the oil and gas industry, what sort of impact has that had for you and how Expro responded to that?

Well we've actually seen that as well, and from our intervention business we've seen that growing but it's still a challenging market so what we're trying to do with our new technologies is bring clients ‘added value’ and this is what we're doing by bringing intervention capabilities into the subsea market.
