OGV interview with Valor Group on NSPS acquisition ( Jordan Ferguson )

 

Jordan from what we've seen the last year it's been a progressive start for Valor group, can you tell us more about the company?

Valor is a holding company for a suite of oil and gas businesses based in Aberdeen, we've got progressive buy and build strategy. Our current service and product offering include; electro and mechanical engineering services. Asset integrity management specialist inspection and downhole tooling.

congratulations on Valor’s acquisition of NSPS what has led to this decision?

We’re really excited to have brought NSPS onboard, we've been working with the management team since 2018 and we had to ensure that we brought them in the 2019 with us. They’ve got a fantastic track record, a really progressive business and we're really excited to be working with them.

And the announcement comes as part of Valor’s development strategy, what does this mean for the company?

We're going to continue at work with each individuals subsidiary of the group, supporting their growth plans, alongside looking at additional SMEs to bring in and support them.

And looking ahead what are the growth plans for 2019, will you be expanding your group offering further?

We certainly will we are looking to attract some new companies we've got some exciting news to announce soon, we've got some pens and acquisitions that we’re currently looking at and also just support and my growth plans internally.
