On May 24, Oceaneering International conducted the official christening of its newest vessel, MSV Ocean Evolution in Galveston, Texas. In addition to the hour-long christening, tours of the vessel have been conducted this afternoon, accompanied by food and refreshments.
Just within the last two months, Oceaneering took deliver of Ocean Evolution, which is an advanced, U.S.-flagged, subsea construction vessel. This Jones-Act compliant multi-service vessel will be available for work in the Gulf of Mexico, in water depths down to 13,000 ft.

The Ocean Evolution is equipped with two work-class ROVs, and it can accommodate 110 people onboard. The vessel features low-carbon emissions, advances station-keeping, and greater lifting capabilities.
