Global Maritime Establishes a New Entity in Spain

To complement the ‘Globally Active, Locally Present’ strategy, Global Maritime has acquired engineering specialist, Iberian Offshore.

The recent acquisition strengthens Global Maritime's footprint into the emerging Spanish offshore wind sector and will serve as a gateway for future expansion into the Mediterranean region, enabling continued support to our clients and the anticipated growth in both fixed and floating offshore wind markets.

Iberian Offshore brings in-depth knowledge of the local market and significant experience in the fixed-bottom offshore wind industry including foundation and monopile design and other specialist engineering and maritime consultancy.

With a track record both in Spain and across Europe, as well as the US, integrating this expertise with Global Maritime’ existing offshore wind capability will strengthen Global Maritime’s position as a market leader in the offshore renewables sector across both bottom fixed and the fast-emerging floating wind sector.
