Aker Solutions ASA has won two contracts from oil company Aker BP ASA for the NOA Fulla field development on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
The energy industry service provider said Wednesday that the contracts cover front-end engineering and design for the NOA processing, drilling and quarters platform, and for the Froy wellhead platform.
The awards could pave the way for further contracts if the field development moves into the execution phase in 2022, potentially bringing in more than 10 billion kroner ($1.16 billion) for Aker Solutions depending on final investment decisions.
Aker BP awarded the two front-end engineering and design contracts as part of the Fixed Facilities Alliance between Aker BP, Aker Solutions and German energy company Siemens Energy AG.
