Digital & Social Selling qualification

Social Media business transformation consultants Crux Consultancy Ltd (Crux) announced this week that they are now delivering the world’s first formal Social Selling qualification to the energy industries.

Crux are partnered with London based DLA Ignite and their Social Selling programme is now the first of its kind to be certified by the Institute of Sales Professionals (ISP).

Institute of Sales Professionals is an organisation that lobbies government, develops specialised training programmes and tirelessly works toward sales being recognised for the profession that it is - a profession, success in which demands skills, tenacity and an ethical treatment of prospects and customers.

Over many years the ISP has developed a series of ground-breaking sales education and training programmes to drive this agenda which their membership can be assured represent the high watermark in learning initiatives.  The ISP offers a range of training programmes for both young learners and established salespeople covering sales techniques, ethics, sales management, presentations, sales apprenticeships and much more.

Until now the ISP have not offered a digital selling element to any of their training programmes.  This certification process has been in development for 3 years and has now produced the world’s only professionally accredited digital and social selling training programme.

Eric Doyle, co-founder of Crux said “buyers are making their purchasing decisions digitally, they are shortlisting potential suppliers digitally, they are identifying potential solutions digitally and are being influenced positively or negatively by how suppliers present themselves on Social Media.  Right now, its crucial to give teams the skills they need to prospect, network, build influence and close business digitally, and now there is a formal standard for professionals in Social Selling”.

The Crux / DLA Ignite programme, designed to position teams as the leading technical and commercial digital influencers in their chosen sectors, is delivered over 12 weeks and includes modular team training and one to one coaching which is geared towards personal development and business transformation.  To achieve the new certificate, candidates will take part in ongoing coaching, assessment, and examination elements.

Adam Gray, Co-Founder and Head of Intellectual Property at DLA Ignite said “We are delighted that at DLA Ignite we can now offer this programme in most regions and industries through our partner network and Crux, headquartered in Aberdeen, has huge experience in the energy industry so is not only an expert in delivering this training programme but has deep industry knowledge and expertise in this sector”.
