Crondall Energy Boosts London Office With Appointment Of General Manager

Crondall Energy, the floating production and subsea specialist, has appointed industry stalwart, Tony Hodgkins, as General Manager of its London office.

Tony has more than 30 years’ experience of the oil and gas sector and will play a central role in delivering the company’s ambitious plans to grow its presence in the UK and globally. The consultancy, which has offices in Winchester, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Stavanger, Houston and Singapore, opened in London last year to enhance the services it offers to oil and gas firms and other clients based in the city.

A Chartered Civil Engineer with an MBA from Henley, Tony has worked on a wide variety of offshore projects from fixed platforms, pipelines, and subsea developments to floating production systems. He has held a range of management roles for engineering consultants, EPC contractors, and a start-up lease operator both in the UK and overseas - having spent several years working in Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Trinidad, Venezuela, Zimbabwe and Norway.

Tony will report into Anna-Louise Peters, Managing Director of Crondall Energy’s consultancy division and will work alongside Duncan Brown who leads the subsea team in London.

Anna-Louise said: “Tony brings with him a wealth of experience, having held senior technical and commercial roles with respected energy companies. His insights and expertise are a valuable addition to our leadership team as we continue our ambitious growth drive.”

Tony joins Crondall Energy having spent the last four years in a leadership role focused on project development and financial strategy with a start-up FPSO lease operator active in the North Sea (UKCS and NCS) as well as West Africa and Brazil.

Tony’s appointment follows the recent appointments of Non-Executive Board Member Richard Luff and General Manager of Crondall Energy’s Houston office, Paul Britton.

The company provides a combination of engineering and technical and commercial advisory services for operatorsof offshore oil and gas projects that use floating production and subsea technologies.
