Can you tell us about Springtech and what you do?

At Springtech we are the manufacturer of high precision, high quality springs for the oil and gas energy automotive defence and aerospace industries. We concentrate on demanding applications which require our specialist engineering expertise to ensure that those applications are fit for purpose.

What brings you to OGA?

We’re at the show for the third time. We have found this show to be very good at giving us access to the local market. We supply both ariane manufacturers and also the service and maintenance companies and the big challenge for an SME manufacturer from the UK is accessing that wider network of customers in Malaysia.

How are you finding the event so far?

This is the second time we’ve exhibited as part of the UK. The first time was in Abu Dhabi last year for ADIPEC and we’re finding the increased profile gives a smaller manufacturer like ourselves, much better connections to customers in the local market.
