BiSN see’s a significant increase in field deployments in Q1

BiSN, the global leader in innovative metal-to-metal downhole sealing solutions, is celebrating a successful start to 2019, deploying more than three times as many tools against the same period last year.

Working with new clients, in new locations, BiSN has moved beyond the R&D phase of their Wel-lok M2M technology, deploying tools in Angola, Australia and the North Sea in the first quarter this year. With further deployments scheduled in the US, Africa, the North Sea and Australia in Q2, BiSN is looking forward to a record-breaking year.  

These achievements follow an already successful year that saw the company working with new clients globally and deploying the world’s largest bismuth plug in the Norwegian North Sea, before testing an even larger tool in early 2019.

Paul Carragher, CEO said: “2018 was an incredibly exciting year of growth for BiSN, with multiple award wins, new clients and record-breaking deployments for the company, but in the background, we were working hard to continue building on that success, setting ourselves up for a fantastic 2019.

“So far this year, alongside developing and deploying innovative downhole application and tools, we’ve conducted more than 30 presentations to potential clients, taken part in global technical conferences and visited clients across 5 continents. We’ve seen a lot of interest in our technology, and we believe it is our commitment to developing the right solutions for our clients that is supporting our global growth.”
