Add Energy Collects Award For Business Excellence

Add Energy Collects Award For Business Excellence

Add Energy’s Asset and Integrity Management (AIM) division has collected a prestigious business award during a ceremony with the Lord Provost of Aberdeen today, Friday 11 October 2019.

The Aberdeen-based company was one of just eight Scottish organisations recognised in the International Trade and Innovation categories of the Queen’s Award For Enterprise when the finalists were announced earlier this year.

Speaking, today, during a presentation ceremony with Add Energy’s Aberdeen team, the Lord Provost of Aberdeen, Barney Crockett, in his role as Lord-Lieutenant, which is how he is referred when carrying out duties on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen said: “I was delighted, on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, to present Add Energy’s Asset and Integrity Management (AIM) with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise.  Add Energy AIM is an Aberdeen-based organisation that is a huge asset locally and on an international level with offices in Houston and Muscat.  It was a real pleasure to meet Add Energy’s Aberdeen team and to congratulate them on receiving this esteemed award and to take the opportunity to wish them continued success in the future.”

Peter Adam, Executive Vice President of Add Energy AIM, also represented the company at a reception at Buckingham Palace for all 201 award winners, this summer.

He added: “We were truly honoured to be recognised in this way and to now be presented with the actual award provides another opportunity to celebrate with everyone in the team.

There are few greater accolades for a UK business than the Queen’s Award.

“The expertise and products that we offer are ideally suited to unlocking value for energy firms and it’s a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team that we have been able to achieve this level of international growth, given the challenges faced by the oil and gas sector during that time. We look forward to working in partnership with our clients around the globe to continue to build on this momentum.”

Add Energy, which employs 130 in its offices in Aberdeen, Houston and Muscat, provides consultancy and software solutions which optimise asset performance including Oil and Gas, Power Generation and Chemicals.

It is a division of Stavanger-headquartered Add Energy which provides consultancy and software solutions to the global energy sector.
