Corrosion Resistant Materials is a family-run  specialist, technical materials supplier based in Rotherham South Yorkshire.

We stock a wide range of materials from low alloy, stainless, duplex, super duplex, nickel, Aluminium  and Titanium in bar, plate, sheet, pipes, tubes and forgings. Our latest count shows we have supplied over 65 different grades of specialist materials and many of these we keep on stock for quick supply to our customers. We purchase these materials not only from the UK but also import from China, Europe and the USA.

One of our main USPs and what makes us very unique in our sector is that we package all these grades of materials together so our customers can enjoy the ease of being able to place one order, have one invoice and one shipment. By doing this we can pass on huge savings to our customers and give them what they want, when they want it.

As part of this package we offer our customers many value added services such as additional machining, heat treatment and testing using our approved local sub-contractors. Many of our sub-contract suppliers are based in Sheffield as we take pride in being able to support our local businesses.

We often keep customer specific material ex stock on consignment for our customers. This allows to get key grades of material available which are critical to their operations and makes sure that they do not run out and therefore cannot produce the parts they need when they need to. This contract model is also supported by our fast paced transactional day to day business where customer demand a 1-2 day despatch  service. Speed of delivery and service  is key to our business as well as making sure we have the right stock for the right customers to maximize on our profits and sales.

We supply our materials within the UK and worldwide in various sectors including Oil and Gas, Aerospace, Power generation, defence and marine and our ISO 9001 approval ensures the highest quality standards in everything we offer.

Alongside  this we carry  many  major  end user approvals  such as NOV, WEIR, FLOWSERVE,   BAE SYSTEMS,  IMI TRILLIUM FLOW all of which  we have acquired  in the  past 18-24 months.  This allows  us to supply  direct  into their  UK and Worldwide   operations.

We also hold  'MADE IN SHEFFIELD'  status  for the  specialist  materials  we supply and in particular   for  unique  products  such as 718 flat  bar forgings  which  we produce  to a  unique  customer   specification   which  very few others  hold.

In total  we are a  team  of 12 (including  3 apprentices).   Each member   of staff  is highly valued.  We believe  strongly   in training    and giving young  local people  a step into  a fantastic  career. We work  closely with  Barnsley  college  and through their  'Talent  United'  programme   deliver  seminars  and talks to their  students,  We also take students  on work  experience  to help them  gain the  relevant  training

for their  future  careers.
