Bermudian-based Valaris Ltd, the offshore drilling services outfit, has been awarded a three-year contract with North Oil Company offshore Qatar.
The company said the contract is for Valaris JU-110, a heavy-duty modern jack-up.
Valaris said the contract is anticipated to begin in the fourth quarter of 2021.
The company operates a diverse rig fleet of 11 ultra-deepwater drillships, five semi-submersibles and 44 shallow-water jack-ups across six continents.
