SUBSEA EXPO 2019 - OGV interview Steven Simpson from Brimmond Group

Hi Steve, so what brings you to Subsea Expo this year?

We've exhibited this show for three, four years now. The subsea market is very important to us, we’re a hydraulic engineering company and whether it be rental or a bespoke equipment services, it’s great to come here meet some old and new friends and yeah, really just get ourselves out there a bit more.

I've heard that you're up for an award at the subsea Expo, can you tell us a little bit more about that?

Yeah we are, we're the first team up for the best small company at the Subsea Awards, it's the first time we've actually been put forward for an award so we're really excited and look forward to the dinner tomorrow night.

And you're also working with Charlie House Charity, can you tell us a little bit more about that?

Yeah so when we've selected Charlie house for our corporate charity for 2019 and I'm really excited to unveil our hire 45 kilovolt electric HPU you so when it goes out in rental A percentage of the rental will actually go to the charity. That on top of some other events we’ll do with the staff, so yeah we're hopeful we are really good exciting year for the charity.
