Scottish company, Brimmond Group, attends OTC 2019 as it continues to expand its global reach

 

Brimmond Group attends The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) 2019 on the Scottish Development International (SDI) stand, as part of its global expansion strategy.

With products and services from Scotland being in demand around the world, being part of the SDI stand ensures that Brimmond Group is available for companies attending OTC to learn more about the products and services offered from its Scottish base.

Brimmond Group, Preffered Marine Cranes and Rigrun Europe, an Aberdeenshire based engineering organisation, have been delivering integrated engineering solutions to the oil and gas sector providing hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic products and services, designed to meet specific market requirements.  

With an already established international presence, the organisation is seeking to expand its global reach in America.

In 2019 OTC celebrates 50 years of hosting their annual conference. OTC is a well-known and well-attended event where energy professionals meet to exchange ideas and opinions.  This year the conference will offer over 350 peer-selected technical presentations, and expects over 60,000 energy professionals from 100+ countries to visit the exhibition.

OTC 2019 will provide Brimmond Group, Preffered Marine Cranes and Rigrun Europe with the platform from which it can showcase its specialist solutions which includes both a rental fleet and bespoke design and engineering solutions supporting operations in subsea, dredging, drilling, plug and abandonment and decommissioning sectors.

Its rental fleet includes hydraulic power units (HPU), spoolers, reelers, tugger winches, flushing units, pump and filtration packages, fully foldable knuckle boom marine cranes, telescopic boom marine cranes, knuckle boom marine cranes and more.

In addition to the rental offering, the in-house engineering team collaborate with clients to supply tailored products, providing design, engineering and build capabilities to develop product spreads that match the client’s functional specification.

With a wealth of oil field experience, Rigrun Europe plays an integral part of supporting a company’s platform Inspection, Repair and Maintenance (IRM) programme, through the provision of experienced offshore engineers and technicians.  Engineering expertise is readily available offshore or at our purpose-built workshop, to support drilling operations and rig re-activation with the refurbishment and upgrades for riser tensioners, riser spiders, guideline tensioners, drill string compensators. Helping customers to increase the lifespan of existing equipment used as part of the drilling process on platforms, semi-submersibles and jack-ups.
