Proteus launches global Partner Program as demand for the new digital product grows

Proteus, the cloud-based operating system that transforms the way in which businesses source and use talent to deliver projects, has signed up five global partners to its new Partner Program.

The programme enables partners to earn attractive financial rewards, including long term annuity revenues and licence fee rebates, by referring Proteus to their customers.

Renewables consultancy firm, Energy Crab, and semiconductor solutions provider, Verax Limited, are among the partners who have seen the value Proteus can bring to their customers’ bottom line and to their own businesses.

Proteus, a new digital platform that is set to revolutionise business operating models, is now being used by over 35 companies across the globe. Its diverse capabilities and project solutions make it accessible to any company, in any sector, looking to accelerate growth and boost profits, as well as gain access to a global workforce of rated industry professionals.

The generous Proteus Partner Program, which can earn partners over $600,000 per annum, is tailored to what partners want to offer. That can be selling directly to a client, and then leaving the expert Proteus team to do the rest of the work, or delivering a full service by adopting their own after-sales team to support their customers once they’re using Proteus.

Proteus chief operating officer (COO), Nigel Filer, said “With market demand for this kind of digital platform increasing, we’re giving partners in various sectors the opportunity to sell Proteus, increasing our revenues and theirs, with a product that will add considerable value to their customers.

“Launching a partner programme like this has become almost a rite of passage for successful SaaS platforms. It is testament to Proteus’ powerful offering that we have expedited this initiative so early in our launch journey.”

Alistair Glachan, director of Energy Crab, has signed on to the Proteus Partner Program, having followed the development of the product since its final stages of beta testing. He explained: “At that point, it was clear how versatile and customisable the platform is. It has huge potential in the renewable energy industry, where there is an urgent need to drive down costs and drive up efficiencies.

“Proteus is extremely easy to implement and use. It is fantastic value compared to other work management tools, allowing users to standardise proposals, manage multiple projects and timesheets, all of which significantly help to reduce overhead costs.  Additionally, the marketplace for freelancers to perform scopes of work as and when you need them is great for optimising resources, finding opportunities and maximising profit.”

Proteus’ modelling conservatively indicates that users can reduce as much as 75% of the cost of developing proposals, 50% of project management administration costs as well as minimise debtor days. These concrete savings, says Mr Filer, can make the difference between running a profitable project or not.

He added: “In the saturated SaaS (software as a service) market, too many systems promise the world and deliver nothing other than an expensive overhead. With Proteus the return on investment is directly measurable.

“Proteus’ Marketplace function can stimulate employment and boost the economy with its ability to connect organisations instantly with freelancers who have the relevant skills and experience companies need, when they need them. Much more cost-effective than typical recruitment fees and facilitating the shift to remote working, it further reduces overheads associated with staff. For the freelancers, the Marketplace allows them to work with multiple companies at the same time, create virtual teams, collaborate with other freelancers and access industry leading software.”
