Nucore Group announces new Board members

Aberdeen’s Nucore Group is delighted to announce that Mark Fraser becomes Chief Executive Officer and the recent appointment of Russell Ward as its Non-Executive Chairman.

Nucore Group, is a portfolio of specialist engineering companies including Oteac Ltd and HVAC & Refrigeration Ltd,  that provide engineering products and services, from fire and security to climate control engineering to the offshore oil and gas, onshore petrochemical and marine industries, as well as large private and public sector clients.

Mark joined the group in 2018 as CFO, working closely with the senior management team to drive performance across the group.  As a certified accountant with extensive international experience, Mark takes the helm of leading Nucore Group forward, helping each business unit to maximise their opportunities.

Russell has a wealth of global industry experience, providing strong vision and leadership focus with strategic-level business insight.  As Nucore Group continues to expand and develop an international presence for a range of products and services supporting a variety of industry sectors, Russell’s experience will prove invaluable to the organisation.

Oteac and HVAC & Refrigeration Engineering, part of Nucore Group, support both onshore and offshore markets, including; oil and gas, renewable energy, marine, waste management, facilities & property management, education, healthcare, manufacturing and more.

The offshore energy sector is a crucial sector for Nucore Group.  In Q1 2019 the group expanded its workforce with several technical and engineering appointments, several of which dedicated to providing support for the offshore energy sector.

As CEO of Nucore Group, Mark will concentrate on the organisation’s strategic and commercial opportunities, working closely with the senior leadership team to set the group up for success and growth.
