Multiple wins for ModuSpec in the UKCS

ModuSpec is delighted to have secured multiple recent project wins in the United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS) for provision of rig intake & inspection services.

The contract awards include supporting the intake of a light well intervention vessel, with the scope comprising verification of equipment and assessing the robustness of the health, safety, environmental management systems, as well as a deep dive into the competency management system.

We have been asked by another client to support its rig selection process. Our team will review the compliance and status of a harsh environment semi-submersible drilling rig currently operating out with the UKCS. The project requires a customised approach, closely project managed by our onshore technical team in Aberdeen, to give the client as much support as required. This will include reviewing aspects of the contractor’s maintenance management system, equipment condition, and capability and adherence to the clients’ global standards.

ModuSpec will also support the verification of a platform-based intervention and completions unit (ICU), including environmental compliance, during commissioning for another UK operator.
