Finalist Recognition As Subsea Company Of The Year

We’ve been recognised in Subsea Expo’s search for its company of the year.

J+S Subsea are finalists in the Subsea Expo Company of the Year (under 50 employees) award. The prestigious awards ceremony, organised by the Global Underwater Hub, takes place on February 22, 2023, at P&J Live in Aberdeen. The awards celebrate the companies and individuals leading the way in the UK’s £8billion underwater industry.

Managing director Phil Reid said: “News of the award nomination rounds off a brilliant year for us. It’s been one of strong growth which relies on the dedication and expertise of our team.

“Taking the decision to launch J+S Subsea felt like a huge risk back in 2020 when the world was in such a state of flux – not to mention the energy industry, which was moving into a new phase.

“But we feel like we are moving from strength to strength, with a brilliant team to drive our continuing success, using our technology to develop into new markets and win new contracts.”

The Subsea Expo Awards recognise the companies and individuals who are leading the way in the underwater sector. The guest speaker on the evening will be space scientist, engineer and broadcaster Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock MBE, who will share her love of science and highlight the everyday connections that exist between space and our seas. The awards coincide with Subsea Expo – Free to attend, the three-day event is expected to attract up to 6,500 industry professionals and will feature around 150 exhibiting companies.
