Aberdeen based business application experts Escone Solutions has secured a number of exclusive contracts to the value of £250,000 including a new contract win with Intuitive Business Intelligence (Intuitive) to provide support for its dashboard software.
The quarter of a million in new business also includes contract renewals with Abellio Group (Abellio) and Independent News and Media (INM) for continued business application support and maintenance.
As one of Aberdeen’s leading business application support companies, the contract wins further cements Escone Solutions’ ongoing commitment to continually improving, evolving and leading in its field. The boost will help secure employment, enable further growth and position the company alongside some of the top IT solutions companies nationwide.
Co-Founded in 2015 by Kevin Wyness and Mike Charles, Escone Solutions is the home of Escone Assist, a helpdesk solution which gives clients the reassurance that their business-critical applications are being managed by a team of super users who can work quickly and effectively to provide ongoing support and maintenance.
Having suffered from the wave of oil and gas redundances back in 2015, Kevin and Mike harnessed their expertise in business application support and development to form an application solutions-based business that successfully appeals to many industry sectors. With over 50 years combined experience as both software provider and customer, Escone Solutions has quietly created a stable foundation from which to grow and today, supports a range of SME and Enterprise organisations across the UK.
Despite tough market conditions, the decision by companies like Intuitive, Abellio and INM to further develop effective relationships with Escone, is a testament to their commitment to invest in and enhance user experience, ensure best practise change control and due diligence whilst reducing internal costs for maintaining and developing their systems.
Mike Charles, Escone Solutions Director and Co-Founder, commented: “We are delighted to continue supporting these clients with their business application requirements and look forward to further strengthening our relationships in the coming months ahead.
“From an uncertain starting position in 2015 and the risk of embarking on an Aberdeen based start-up business amidst the oil & gas downturn five years ago, to be where we are today, renewing deals with happy clients is a proud moment.
“It's been a pleasure working with Intuitive, INM and Abellio and with these new agreements we can build on the work we have done with them to become their partner of choice.”
Escone Solutions Director and Co-Founder, Kevin Wyness said: “A key factor for our ongoing success is our positive culture which is demonstrated by our high staff and client retention levels. Our customers will continue to have great access to our experienced in-house team as and when they need us and we are grateful for the ongoing trust and opportunities.
“This news is recognition that Escone Solutions is an established player within the market and it is another positive step on our business journey.”
Intuitive and Escone have had a prosperous relationship over the last three years and the new agreement sees Escone deliver all helpdesk support for Intuitive clients going forward.
Roger Stocker, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Intuitive Business Intelligence, commented on the new agreement: “We are excited to partner with Escone to bolster our helpdesk function, ensuring we continue to deliver effective, top level support and maintenance for our growing base of clients and partners globally.
“We look forward to working more closely with the highly experienced team at Escone in the coming months to get closer to our customers, provide reassurance and greater value with their dedicated cloud-based helpdesk solution managed by a team of super users.”
Overall an exciting period for the Aberdeen business applications support company that isn’t slowing down as it looks to announce additional agreements in the near future.
