Calling Notice: Industry UKCS Data and Digital Maturity Survey 2020: Launch of First Report

The results of a major collaborative research project assessing the pace and extent of digitalisation across the oil and gas sector will be revealed at a free OGUK webinar on Tuesday 1 September.

In a first for the industry, the UKCS Data and Digital Maturity Survey was launched in June 2020 in partnership with the Technology Leadership Board (TLB), the Oil and Gas Technology Centre (OGTC), and Opportunity North East (ONE) with support from Deloitte.

Over 70 organisations and almost 40 individuals responded to the survey, providing in-depth information on aspects including digital strategies, use of technology, data practices, training and innovation.

This new report will provide invaluable insight into the current digital and data landscape while highlighting areas where the industry has opportunities to accelerate the digital transformation required to become more competitive and meet its low carbon targets.

Who: Dan Brown Executive Director of OGUK subsidiary Common Data Access will chair the event with guest speakers from the Technology Leadership Board; Oil and Gas Technology Centre, Opportunity North East, the Oil and Gas Authority and Deloitte.

What: Webinar highlighting the findings of the survey, insights from each of the partner organisations and next steps.
