“Arindam Das is based in Westwood Global Energy Group’s London office and has overall responsibility for the firm’s consulting / commercial advisory engagements globally.
He started his career in 2001, working for approx. 5 years as a Logging While Drilling (LWD) Field Engineer with Baker Hughes in the US Gulf of Mexico. Prior to joining Westwood in 2016, Arindam spent approx. a decade working in M&A and Principal Investments focused on the energy industry. His international work experience encompasses India, USA, UK and Canada.
Arindam holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a MBA (Finance) from Queen’s University in Canada”
Director of Business Development for Eastern Hemisphere at Petrofac
Robert’s experience spans almost 20 years, with 12 years specifically in the Middle East Oil and Gas industry across the upstream and downstream sectors. An undergraduate in Economics and Management, Robert’s early career followed a commercial sales route before he moved to the Middle East in 2009. Prior to joining Petrofac in 2018, Robert was Business Development Director for Amec Foster Wheeler in Saudi Arabia.

Bart is an executive advisor with 20+ years of consulting experience, focused on strategic and operational issues in the natural resources space, covering strategy development and implementation, organizational design, operational excellence and organizational integration projects.
Bart has worked with NOCs and IOCs across the entire oil & gas value chain, with a strong focus on upstream. He has spent many years working in the Oil & Gas industry in emerging markets covering among others Africa, India, Ukraine, Russia, and the Middle East. Clients worked for are among others Rosneft, TNK-BP, Total, Gazpromneft, CNOOC, Shell, Sasol, Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, SABIC and Mubadala Petroleum.
Bart currently leads Deloitte’s Energy, Resources & Industrials practice in the Middle East.
Bart holds an MSc in Systems Engineering, Policy & Management from Delft University of Technology and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
General Manager, Abu Dhabi, Proserv Controls
Angus Rodger is Proserv’s General Manager at its major facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Angus first joined Proserv as a graduate engineer in 2013 based in Aberdeen and since then has undertaken a wide range of roles, spanning several continents.
In 2016, he moved to Singapore as GM with his brief including decommissioning and offshore field services. After moving back to the UK, to Great Yarmouth, Angus was appointed Proserv’s Global Sales Operations Manager before taking on the responsibility of Director of Business Development & Marketing.
Angus moved to the UAE in January of last year, and despite the challenges of the global pandemic, he has overseen a relocation to a new state-of-the-art facility in Abu Dhabi, the doubling of his team’s headcount and the acquisition of a specialist regional business to significantly complement Proserv’s service offering. Angus’ clients include some of the world’s biggest national oil companies.
Vice President Global Production, OMV
Philipp Tippel leads and manages OMV’s global production business and operations support services, delivering expertise, products, and efficient workflows to more than 10 countries. He is responsible for end-to-end value optimization from reservoir to sales point through the implementation of innovative field operating models, digital oilfield concepts and data-enabled operational excellence. Philipp came to OMV from Schlumberger and holds has a master’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Leoben.
Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Cognite
Paula Doyle is Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Cognite. Before coming to Cognite, Paula spent 15 years working in a variety of roles within the oil and gas industry for companies such as ABB and Siemens, including working in Norway and the Middle East. Paula holds a Ph.D. in Industrial automation and a first class honours degree in computer engineering from the University of Limerick.
Managing Director within Microsoft’s Worldwide Energy Industry business
Uwa is responsible for Microsoft’s overall strategy in the Oil & Gas and mining industries, including field readiness and engagement, partner strategy, strategic investments, and integration among business groups within Microsoft.
Prior to his current role, Uwa held several positions at General Electric (GE) where he had a successful nine-year career within the Oil & Gas Division. As a strategist and thought leader, Uwa has a proven record of success driving profitable growth and shareholder value. He’s a visionary who supported and led companies through diverse market cycles – from rapid growth to declining economies. Over the course of Uwa’s career, he has worked closely with global organizations from startup companies to Fortune-listed corporations.
Uwa earned an Executive MBA from Cornell University and a Master of Arts in International Relations at Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), with concentrations in International Economics & Energy Policy. He also has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics, with honors, from Brown University.
